Tree Improvement Grants

Tree Improvement grants provide between $1,500 and $5,500 for projects on public property and right-of-ways that are aimed at developing local resources for continuing tree care, especially periodic pruning. Matches must be in cash. The grant is available for structural and corrective pruning of trees in public places (street, parks, and other public lands such as municipal parking lots, riparian areas, roadside gateways). This grant is not for tree removal.
